ABOUT US

Perdepoort horsetrails are about horses and people interacting and having fun.  It is a great way to see the beautiful indigenous forest.  You have two lovely close to nature experiences.  Our horses are easy to ride, we cater for the novice and experienced rider.

We are situated on a private farm up in Wilderness heights.  The ride takes place on this private farm so no traffic involved!  We take rides 10am and 3pm so that the horses also have a time to eat and chill.

The trail is adventures in some places but beautiful, we also see a Yellow wood tree of about 400 years and it is also SA national tree.

SERVICES

We take experienced and novices.

The novices get a demonstration before we start on how to ride. Children are welcome, there is possibility for one to be led.

Experienced riders wont be stuck in a novice group I let them go off on a canter or trot in specific areas. I can take a group of 6 people but a single rider is also welcome. In other words i will go with one person aswell.

If it is a group more than 6 we can do two sessions, while the first group rides the others can have picnic under the trees!
